Handball referee from 1999. From 2006. international EHF and IHF referee. Referee on 7 World Championships, 6 European Championships and Olympic games in London. In 2011. and 2013. referee in final game of EHF Womens Champions League matches. In 2010., 2012., and 2017. referee on EHF Mens Champions League FINAL4 matches. In 2020. referee in semifinal and final game of EHF Mens Champions League FINAL4 matches. In 2022. referee in final game of EHF Mens Champions League FINAL4 match. Referee of European Championships 2018. final match and World Championships 2011. and 2019. semifinal and final matches. 14 times in the row, from 2009. to 2022., officialy best referee couple in Croatia by Croatian Handball Federation and top journalists. In 2019., by decision of President of Croatia Mrs. Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic, awarded a medal "Order of the Croatian Interlace" for exceptionally contribution to the development of the reputation of the Republic of Croatia in the world through the field of sports, sports and social activities. The order was founded on 1995 and is awarded for advancement of progress and reputation of Croatia and the welfare of its citizens. It is named after the Croatian Interlace, a traditional Croatian ornamental design, an interwoven series of branches used as a wall or barrier. In 2019., 2020. and 2022., in the contest organised by highly respected handball portal Handball-Planet.com, based on opinion of handball journalists and handball fans from all over the world, selected for Best Handball Referee in the World. In 2020., awarded with the highest recognition awarded by the Republic of Croatia, State Award for Sports "Franjo Bučar", for exceptional achievements and contribution of special significance for the development of sports in the Republic of Croatia. The President and eight members of the State Awards Committee are appointed by the Croatian Parliament from among prominent sports and public officials, prominent athletes and other prominent experts in the field of sports.
